THE PLOT:
A club called the Monster Squad meets and talks about all kinds of monsters. But talk becomes cheap when the real Dracula
shows up with a horde of monsters looking for an old book that one of the kids find.
Dracula feels that with this ancient book he can banish the humans to another world while he conquers the Earth. So the
kids have to keep it away from the vampire lord at all cost.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is a clever little movie in the lines of THE GOONIES. The same kind of misfit makes good story and lots of classic cool
monsters. The story works, it's exciting and funny. A great movie all around, 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd but in my opinion Tom Noonan as the Frankenstein monster steals the movie. He does a great job. Tom Noonan
always gets in his role. Wether it be a crazed killer "MANHUNTER" or a drug dealing maniac with delusions of godhood,
Tom Noonan is a great character actor and deserves praise. 9 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The creature effects are cool.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ GOONIES STYLE (If you like GOONIES then you will like the MONSTER SQUAD.)
+ TOM NOONAN (Tom Noonan really steals the movie.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MINOR CHARACTER ISSUES (We could have done without the bullies.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a big fan of GOONIES then you won't like it.)
